  5. This hands-on course will cover advanced DESQview installation
  6. options, detailed descriptions of the "Change a Program" fields,
  7. tricks for configuring an ideal PC multitasking environment, and
  8. trouble shooting options for DESQview.
  9.  
  10. The DESQview "Change Program" options for allocating memory, CPU,
  11. and graphics resources will be presented with an emphasis on
  12. optimizing resource allocation and resolving potential conflicts.
  13.  
  14. Additionally, the options that determine if a program should be
  15. multitasked (and tap into the CPU resources), or be "swapped"
  16. (hence quickly available for use, but not actually requiring CPU
  17. resources) will be discussed.
  18.  
  19. Knowledge of the differences between conventional, expanded, and
  20. extended memory is required for this class.  A text primer,
  21. including copies of the overheads used in the course, and a free
  22. copy of Manifest, Quarterdeck's memory analysis utility are
